EXCLUSIVE: A24 and Chernin Entertainment’s Dicks: The Musical, within the wake of getting a rowdy world premiere at TIFF’s Midnight Madness, is tweaking its launch date, now going restricted on Oct. 6 as an alternative of Sept. 29.

The film, directed by Borat filmmaker Larry Charles and starring and written by Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp, will go vast on Oct. 20. Chernin Entertainment produced and co-finance al ongside A24. 

The bawdy film follows two fiercely aggressive salesmen (Sharp and Jackson) who uncover that their twins, after individually being raised by their mom (Megan Mullally) and homosexual father (Nathan Lane). The duo attempt to get their dad and mom again collectively. SNL‘s Bowen Yang stars as God, and Megan Thee Stallion stars as the fellows’ ruthless boss.

The pic acquired a SAG-AFTRA Interim Agreement 36 hours earlier than its world premiere at TIFF clearing the best way for Jackson, Sharp and Yang to look on stage and do interviews through the fest.
