Moss, who testified for lower than three minutes, mentioned she had a romantic relationship with Depp from 1994 to 1998. Depp’s staff referred to her as a rebuttal witness in response to testimony from Heard, who mentioned on the stand that she thought of a rumour Depp had pushed Moss when she and her sister Whitney Heard Henriquez have been in an altercation with Depp close to a set of stairs.

“He swung at Whitney, and I’d heard a rumour, an imprecise rumour, about that,” Heard testified on May 17.

On Wednesday, Moss testified below oath that the rumour was unfaithful — that the then-couple went to Jamaica throughout their relationship and that at one level on the journey, there was a rainstorm and Moss fell down a set of stairs and injured her again.

“We have been leaving the room and Johnny left the room earlier than I did and there had been a rainstorm and as I left the room I slipped down the steps and I harm myself again,” Moss mentioned. “I screamed as a result of I did not know what occurred to me and I used to be in ache and he got here operating again to assist me and carried me to my room and received me medical consideration.”

Depp’s legal professional requested Moss if Depp had ever pushed her down the steps throughout their relationship.

“No. He by no means pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs,” Moss testified.

Moss was not cross-examined by Heard’s authorized staff.

Later Wednesday, Depp took the stand to testify for a second time.

The actor had beforehand testified in the trial over 4 days in April. The trial has been underway for six weeks with one week-long break in the centre. Closing arguments are anticipated by the top of the week.
