Keke Palmer is “thrilled to the moon” about her “Saturday Night Live” internet hosting debut. The 29-year-old actor has had a serious 12 months, starring in Hollywood blockbusters like “Nope” and “Lightyear” — and now she’s set to host the long-lasting NBC sketch comedy present alongside musical visitor SZA on Dec. 3.
Palmer has been busy selling her TV gig main as much as Saturday’s present. On Dec. 1, “SNL” shared a promo clip starring Palmer, SZA, and forged member Bowen Yang — with the latter so hilariously overwhelmed, he forgot his personal identify, introducing himself as Brown Yang, Bowen Yung, Brown Yung, Cohen Yang, and even Andy Cohen. In one other promo video, posted on Nov. 30, Palmer prepped for her “SNL” stint by displaying off her “octouple menace” abilities, which embody a spot-on impression of Angela Bassett‘s Queen Ramonda from “Wakanda Forever.”
In a current interview with CNN, Palmer shared how excited she is to host “SNL” for the very first time. “I do know it is gonna be a lot enjoyable,” she instructed the outlet. “I’m actually enthusiastic about it and simply trying ahead to doing it. I feel it is gonna be a novel expertise, but in addition some acquainted territory. And then it’s going to simply be enjoyable seeing how they do it, you recognize, on their facet of it. Because I really like sketch.”
