The movie is being tailored from German director F. W. Murnau’s 1922 silent horror movie that was loosely based mostly on Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’

Actors Bill Skarsgard and Lily-Rose Depp are in negotiations to star in filmmaker Robert Eggers’ new tackle basic movie “Nosferatu”.

The movie is being tailored from German director F. W. Murnau’s 1922 silent horror movie that was loosely based mostly on Bram Stoker’s “Dracula”, as per leisure information portal The Hollywood Reporter.

It is touted as a Gothic story of obsession between a haunted younger girl in nineteenth century Germany and the traditional Transylvanian vampire (Skarsgard) who stalks her, bringing untold horror with him.

Jeff Robinov, who initially developed Eggers’ remake below his Studio 8 banner, will produce together with John Graham, Eggers, Chris Columbus and Eleanor Columbus.

Eggers is greatest identified for critically-acclaimed films resembling “The Witch”, “The Lighthouse” and most lately “The Northman”.

His model of “Nosferatu” was first introduced in 2015, simply after the premiere of “The Witch” at Sundance Film Festival.
