The Ernakulam Central Police have registered a case against a physician who had been working on the Ernakulam General Hospital in 2019, on a criticism by a younger physician that she was molested by him when she was a home surgeon on the hospital that yr.
The case has been registered below Section 354 (assault or use of prison pressure against a girl to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code against G. Manoj, a normal physician.
The police had on Saturday requested the complainant, who’s presently settled overseas, to submit her assertion to provoke a probe.
