The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has named 14 filmmakers as winners of its forty ninth student competitors. See the listing under.

All of the profitable movies are eligible to compete for 2022 Oscars within the Animated Short Film, Live Action Short Film or Documentary Short Film class.

The winners will likely be honored throughout an October 20 ceremony on the David Geffen Theater in Los Angeles, the place the medal placements – gold, silver and bronze – within the 4 award classes will likely be introduced. The gala will likely be held in-person for the primary time since 2019.
